Based on the poster "Man as Industrial Palace" poster from 1927, designer Henning Ledered brings the poster to life with this clever animation illustrating various human systems within the body.

Cosmic 140
I found this nice bit of information graphics produced by Information Architects. Screenshots don't do the poster and justice so I have just linked it http://www.grafikmag.com/index.php?m=GR&sub=GRdetail&id=477 . This is a great way to visually show the 140 most influential on twitter.

Glow in the Dark New era hats

These aren't something that you would see everyday, glow in the dark New Era hats. The idea of luminous text and images would be something I would like to experiment with in printing. http://www.behance.net/Gallery/New-Era-Neon-Glow-in-the-dark/394977 Mateusz Sypien

German football kit
As its coming up to the world cup I thought I would post some of my favourite kits from over the years. I think this kit is brilliant, the strong colours of the simple shapes work really well on the white background of the kit, making this strip one of the most easily recognizable international football shirts. I would have brought this top from the vintage shop but it was going for £75.

Visual Mixtape

Here are a few of my favourites from a series of 25 prints by Noa Emberson, depicting his 25 favourite albums. I particularly like the layout of the small columns of text over a large photograph.http://beta10.behance.net/Gallery/The-Visual-Mixtape/512579

Cedric Delsaux: Star Wars

Some great images by Cedric Delsaux from his series 'The Dark lens'. All the images combine brilliant landscape images with Star Wars figures which creates almost lifelikeness to them. I really like the images as they combine to great things, good photography with elements one of my personal favourite films. More work at www.cedricdelsaux.com .Monday, 10 May 2010
Google Chrome Speed Tests
The new video for googles browser chrome are interesting to say the least, but do they really persuade the audience to try the new browser. It still leaves me to question will it really be that fast.
The Evolution of Privacy on Facebook

Interesting enough I followed a link from the guardian on my twitter and came across an article on the evolution of Facebook privacy. These are some images produced by IBM researcher Matt McKeon who used them to illustrate the the treatment of Facebook and its users personal data. All the images work together as you scroll over the different dates on the right hand side the data changes accordingly. I think that the visuals that are presented are clear and concise, showing the audience what the author wants them to see without any unnecessary clutter.

IKEA Cinema Catalogue
This guerrilla style advert campaign fits in well with communication is a virus, it directs the peoples attention subconsciously to what is being flashed up onto the existing film. The promotion solves the problem of promoting the new IKEA catalogues to a wide range of people. The potential audience can be anyone sitting watching the film within the cinema. This method of communication is affective because IKEA are drawing the attention to there products that have been accidentally placed on the set.
