Exhibitions and spaces

Green & Blacks needs to stand out on the shelves and have an effective display stand.

Lighter colours?
Usually high quality products mean less is more.
Run with the theme of using green and black as the predominant colours?

Just some examples of various different stalls, exhibition spaces and stands that I can draw inspiration from to create a stall for Green & Blacks that can be place within supermarkets and shopping centres.

Idea of an organic and ethical feel to the stand.

Premium Chocolate Brands

Guylian

Lindt

Thorntons
Compared to these chocolate brands Green & Blacks has a simpler more elegant style of  packaging. With a lot of this packaging the main focus is on gold foil blocked type with a limited colour palette. As the main problem that we identified in the brief being that Green & Blacks want to create buzz for the brand and the products that they sell. I think that we will just need to tweak the branding slightly, just giving it a face lift.

Edible Design

After looking at the Thorntons billboard we had a couple of thoughts about how we could include some sort of edibility into the project. This would get people to try the various Green & Blacks products, which would hopefully get them to enjoy the taste of the chocolate, ice cream etc and go out and buy the products.

Jelloware:
The cups are made out of agar agar and cast in different flavors, such as lemon-basil,ginger-mint, or rosemary-beet, each specifically designed to compliment a corresponding drink.

Thorntons Billboard

Thorntons came up with this great way to boost sales by creating a massive 860lb, 14.5ft x 9.5ft chocolate billboard. The company expected it to last a week but the chocolate lovers ate it in three hours. This idea incorporates interactivity with the brand of Thorntons, showcasing what the company has to offer. It is getting the customers to try the chocolate and love it.
