This is my one of my favourite fonts.
It was designed by Herb Lubalin in 1970. It adds lower case letters to the family. The Bauhaus typeface design is based on Herbert Bayer's experimental Universal typeface.

Above is the original Universal typeface which ITC Bauhaus is based on. Universal was a experiment by Herbert Bayer to reduce the alphabet to one case.
