Print Processes- Screen Printing

Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink- blocking stencil. The stencils comprise of areas of mesh that transfer the ink as a sharp-edges image onto a substrate. A squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing the ink past the threads of the mesh in the open areas. Screen printing is a stencil method of print making, it involves imposing a design onto a screen of silk or fine mesh.
